In Milarepa Part II, currently in development and scheduled for production by 2009, we travel through the highlands of Tibet with Milarepa as he seeks a true spiritual guide and path to redemption.
After numerous misadventures Milarepa encounters the great mahashidda Marpa, and the trials he undergoes under his teacher’s guidance remain forever a classic portrayal of “tough love”. Determined to put the teachings into practice without regard for life or limb, his hardships, mystical experiences and ultimate achievement play out with great drama.
While Part I is a story of confusion and darkness, Part II is the light coming through, a remarkable tale of the human heart and its potential for wisdom and compassion.
